Charming Studio 30m² - Vignoble Château Barbebelle

This delightful studio is set in one wing of a beautiful 17th-century château, right in the heart of the vineyards of the Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence, on the road to the Luberon.

Wake up to views of vineyards and our horses, and enjoy the peace and well-being of the Provençal countryside.

A true haven of tranquillity, this charming place also lets you experience the daily life of a traditional Provençal wine estate. You can visit the estate’s wine cellar on foot during opening hours to taste and purchase our wines.

You will have access to a garden space in front of the studio, with a table and benches facing the vineyards and horses.

A pleasant walk is possible along a marked path through the woods and vines. Please note that the private wine estate itself is not open for free wandering. All essential information and emergency contacts are available inside the accommodation.

The studio is located 16 km north of Aix-en-Provence, on the road to the Luberon, within the Château Barbebelle Estate in Rognes, on the heights of La Trévaresse. Barbebelle is one of the oldest wine estates in the Aix region, run by the Herbeau family for four generations. Today, Madeleine Herbeau and her father carry on the family legacy, combining tradition with modernity to promote their wines in France and abroad.

About Rognes
Rognes is a historic village between Salon-de-Provence and Aix-en-Provence, close to the River Durance. With origins dating back to prehistoric times, the village has been rebuilt several times over the centuries. After being almost destroyed by an earthquake in 1909, it was later revived and still preserves old streets and houses.

The village is known for its AOC Coteaux d’Aix wines, truffles (celebrated at the annual Truffle Fair in December), and its famous Rognes stone, quarried for nearly 20 centuries. Surrounded by vineyards, olive groves, and Provençal countryside, Rognes offers an authentic, timeless atmosphere.
